The Diet

For the first few million years of our existence, we ate meat such as fish and game, as well as roots and fruits that could be easily gathered. Something you may not have known is that main vegetables of today such as grains, beans, and potatoes all contain toxins in their raw state. That said here are the things that you must stay away from in the Stone Age Diet.

- Potatoes
- Grains – this includes bread, pasta, and noodles
- Beans – string beans, kidney beans, lentils, peanuts, snow- peas,
and peas
- Sugar
- Dairy Products
- Salt

Although it may seem impossible to avoid those things, it will actually be easier than you think once you get used to it. Here is a list of some of the things you can eat with the Stone Age Diet.

- Meat, chicken and fish
- Eggs
- Root Vegetables – Carrots, Radish, etc.
- Fruit
- Nuts – walnuts, macadamia, brazil nuts, almonds. Peanuts are
not nuts.
- Berries – blueberries, strawberries, raspberries etc.

It is best to ease into this diet at you body will need time to adjust, maybe start with replacing your usual breakfast with berries and nuts. You may find that you have a lot more energy. Move on to incorporating the diet into your other meals when you feel comfortable. Remember not to rush though as you body will need time to adjust. After a month of this diet you feel significantly more healthy and energized. Not to mention you should have slimmed down a little. Just remember to keep up with the diet. It is not a temporary thing, it is a way of life. If you keep up with the Stone Age Diet, you will live longer and healthier than most.
